We all know lunch time is a highlight of the day (right behind recess) for our students. One of my favorite memories of elementary school was our cafeteria monitor, Eloise. I remember how she would greet us, help us open our containers, talk to us about our day and how cool it was to see her outside of school and have her give us a high five or hug. I never realized how important her job was to keep us safe.
